Dark Smoke Taillight Cover - SMASH or TRASH?
Hi, I just bough these dark smoke vinyl taillight covers. I'm NOT settled on them yet. Would greatly appreciate peoples' advice. I'm trending towards liking them. I don't like them on the side markers given my car is CRT the black on the side looks odd. But on the rear it seems to blend nicely.

Thanks, Nino. I don't want the car to start looking ghetto-esque.

I was copying you. Did you do the side markers too? I don't like the sides. I do like the back. Not sure about front.

Hey Brian, yes i got the kit from Phastek. Not to hijack your thread, but info to share.I got an email at 4:00pm yesterday that Speedventures needed instructors for today.Long story short i took a couple laps with mt "Standard" SS 5 spoke rims and Pirellies, wow what a difference slipping and sliding.

Wow. Good to know about the tires and wheels. Stock is the way to go. I'll replace these tires with the same.
Track on the left is Thunder Hill. Track on right is Laguna. I also bought Sonoma Raceway, which I've done in an R8, but haven't added it yet.

Not good, IMO. The after burner tail lights that a couple members on this forum have made would be awesome and not "ghetto-esque"

Add it,it's not what mode of ride that you've done it in,it's the fact that you've been on that track. If that were the case i would have to give up Daytona,Road America,Etc.and thats not happening.

I think just a little to dark for your car, just a opinion.
