Square tire/wheel setup 2017 2SS
I have a potentially dumb question. I could not find an answer or a thread that could answer it. I'm about to install 245/40/20 and 8.5 all 4 sides to replace stock wheel/tires. Will this be possible without sacrificing a significant amount of performance. This is for a DD btw.

At CamaroFest7, Al O. explained that they tried several combinations of square and staggered setups and the staggered setup performed the best on the 6th gen chassis. However, it probably depends on how you define significant - I doubt you'll get lap time #s from him if that's what you're looking for. If you do change the rear tire from the stock size, check the diameter to make sure it's very close to avoid any issues with ABS or stability control.

The new ones are essentially the same exact size as the stock front tires/Wheels. Not sure if that helps.
