Z28
2014 = 500
2015 = around 1250, but this is open for debate as GM wont say. I thought it was 1203 but I have been correct a few times on this forum so I will round up to not start an argument.

From what I find in Google GM has not said how many ZL1s were built. Forum is figuring 800 ZL1, 1LEs. As far as collectability that would be 800 every year. Way more then then the Z28 total. Plus that is just the 1LE. There will be noticeably more ZL1s without that option.

Hmm... if they are selling 800 ZL1, GM big mistake on the Z28 might simply have been trying to sell 1500 in 1 year.

IMO it was higher then 1250, here is why we got all the left over parts back in the day, and the trans had tags on them with serial number on them, the numbers started at #1351, so GM built 1350 cars or the trans manufacturer started at #100 to GM.

PS i have that trans if you want a pic.

Im not sure that tells us they built that many cars. GM had all the left over parts because they did not build the 1500 planned. I think it is fair to assume that GM sourced 1500 Transmissions, 1500 sets of wheels, 1500 hoods and so forth. What is the highest numbered VIN we have recorded? Anyway.... doesn't really matter if its 1200 or 1300 or 1400.... It was only made for 2 years and its a Camaro with 427

I'm pretty sure the 1292 number for 2015 is accurate. The guy that did the list did plenty of research on it. I guarantee there were more than 1250 made since I own car #1255.
