5 dollar gas... No ZL1 for you?

So who shall be giving up their order or putting their baby on sale on autotrader once the gas prices go up to 5 bucks a gallon?

Selling your new car because gas prices is a good way to lose $$$. Maybe some orders get cancelled, but i dunno, most wont be DD's...so it wont hurt as much.

If you cancel an order over gas prices, then you couldn't really afford the car in the first place.

You knew from the beginning that this vehicle was not going to be an economy model. It was never designed to be anything other than a very performance sport coupe. If the price of gas is going to steer you away from the car, then maybe this is not really the car for you after all.

Gas could go to $10 a gallon and it wouldn't make a difference to me. I barely drive during the week and my ZL1 will be a pleasure vehicle. You got to pay to play.

But this may be good news to those looking for a used ZL1. I'm sure some out there will decide the additional costs associated with rising gas prices are more than they bargained for and will sell.

I don't think people buying a ZL1 will be worried about fuel.
If they are they should probably not buy one.

Try flying an airplane and putting gas in it. One flight costs about 300 or so in fuel. It is about the fun.

Won't change anything for the dudes in Canada.....we are already north of $6/gal for premium fuel ($1.40+ litre), so you guys still have it good

As has been said, not that anyone is happy with it but the price of admission for free wheelin fun.
