Elevation issue?

Just drove my car up to Payson (5000ft elevation) from Phoenix/Scottsdale (1000-2000ft elevation).

And now I'm having some weird idle/acceleration feel to the driving. Car isn't in the beeeest condition since I do need to fix a couple things on it, but figured a small cruise wouldn't be too bad even after the roadtrip from South Carolina a month ago.

Nothing felt weird until I came back down from the mountains and halfway through? Any thoughts?

If it wasn't properly tuned after some of your mods, the elevation change might push things outside the capabilities of the ECM to compensate. Typically you would expect any of these problems to set a DTC, but the tuner might have turned them off to prevent "bring backs".
This is assuming that you are still at elevation. If you are back down to "normal" and still have problems, you might have bigger problems. Or you have a DTC set that is pushing it run in a default strategy. And again the code may be off, or it's set to not turn on the check engine light.

Hard to say for sure if you’ve got issues you know about. Could be in your tune as well. I’ve done that drive a few times with 100 mph being the minimum speed the entire way and never had a problem. It’s a fun drive going up the climb to payson at speed but it kills the MPG’s lol.

Thanks guys, might look like I have to do the big maintenance on the car sooner than later, no worries about that though!

And the drive is a lot of fun, I had never noticed the elevation change the last time I did this.
