I agree...It takes some getting used the differences. I think we are used to seeing certain speeds etc., and looking at different numbering throws us a bit.

The US version seems better to me too...and the whole dash looks better when it is lit up..compare the others I posted.

I was not a fan of the look of the entire dash when I first saw pictures awhile back, and was still not convinced the first few times I saw one in person, however, the styling has grown on me and the quality of the feel of materials and fit is really nice in person.

I looked through all the pictures I took for a better one of the gauges...I found we took while driving, so the gauges are in use The first is with flash and the second is without. There is some reflection on the second pic on the bezels that is not there while driving.

Thanks HeatherR! So it pretty much looks like the first one during the day? Also, can you choose what to put on the digital readout or is it always speed, distance, and direction?

See, I told you the Canadian version can go up to 300 MPH

just kidding...

Thanks for all the info and pics- gave us all something to do over the past week instead of counting the days...

You can choose. If you don't like the digital speed you can change that by pushing one button on the DIC.

Thanks. Sorry for being such a pain but can you remember what the options are?

Man, I'm a little disappointed in the gauges.

I love the V6 gauges with the retro font (tall and thin). The V8 gauges look cheap and unfinished in comparison.

We had a cold front here today, it dipped into the 50's!Brrrrr

I agree with some about the gauges, IMO the V6 font is better but I won't lose any sleep over it.

I like the cruising RPM at that speed. MMMM... high MPG or for my metric friends low L/100km.
In my 4cyl at that speed im doing 3K rpm but still get ~32mpg lol

You obviously have followed ONE of those paths.

I will PM you for more detail to avoid boring the rest of us, and bringing the topic off-thread.

Geez- Nice pics, Heather!!!

3333 miles? (well, maybe kilometers for all the Candians) that has a really cool symmetry about it....

but then again, I digress....

Thanks for the great photos, and info Heather! (SW Florida is great, isn't it?) The photo of the Camaro in front of hotel entrance is awesome, and GM should use it in the brochure. I photoshopped in my favorite race horse with it! Camaro is the "thoroughbred of musclecars" after all. Love your English Bulldog too!!!

Slightly. There's pics of the difference earlier in this thread. The v6 speedo 'only' goes to 160mph but the v8 goes to 180mph.
