Do you guys agree with this price?
I am looking at getting 2012 1SS stock from my local dealership for 33,500 without taxes an fees. Looking for some opinions if I should go with it or try and talk down some more. Also should I add the short throw shifter or would it be cheaper to install after?

It's new, and has no options installed on it. Just a stock 1SS.

Tell him that it seems a bit high of a price that you would like to see the invoice on it. Once you see the 31000 invoice tell him that you will give him $32,000 out the door, 1000 over invoice just to keep his numbers up. Get the Hurst shifter in the after market, cheaper.

I hope you get a good deal. For comparison, I walk into Hendrick Dodge looking for a new Ram pick up for my uncle and told the guy that I wanted to see the invoice. He brought it out to me and told me that I could have it for invoice minus rebates and including tax, title, and dealer fees. So we walked away with a new 2012 Ram 1500 4X4 single cab, decked out with 20 inch rims, Hemi, and power everything for $26,500. Could have gotten another $1000 for trade in assistance but we didnt have a trade. Just goes to show that there are still good dealers out there. Good luck.

That sound's pretty high for a no option 1SS.
What is the sticker on it? When I was looking at 2011s, a no option 1SS stickered at $31,695. I find it hard to believe that sticker price increased 2 grand from one model year to the next. And even if $33,500 was sticker, you'd have to be a fool to pay sticker for even a 2013, even worse for a 2012, as the 2013's have been out for many months now. EDIT: Screenshot from Chevrolet.com's build your vehicle site. Sticker on a 2012 1SS no options (car as you indicated) is $33,180 (and yes, I'm a bit shocked how much the went up from 2011). $32,680 with rebate. Given its a leftover 2012, I think you need to aim lower than $32K.

$33k is about the right price for California. Cars cost more here.
