I'll say it again If ever I were to get a vert. this would be it. I like the factory painted XM Onstar antenna (too bad ABM was not still avail.) The spoiler is nice as well, strut tower bar.

Plus he mentioned stay tuned for new line up news early 2011... =)

Yea, at first I thought it happened at the dealer but as I checked parked ones I noticed they are the same and so I was able to sleep at night.

Seemed like th guy on stage stumbled a couple of times.. anyways nice convertible now it just needs some Z-28 wheels, suspension upgrades, heck make it look like a Z and it will look oh so good!

A year ago, last November, when I got delivery of my 2SS I was still holding doubts... when I first approached the local Chevy dealership I was hellbent on a convertible.

This was many months before GM actually confirmed they were going to move from concept to production line with the CAMARO.

Even at the last minute, last year's first days of June when I placed my order and put the downpayment (I was first in my part of the global ecovillage!!) I still pushed them to enquire about the availability of the convertible. Then I settled for the coupe, fully loaded though.

Now, seen these pics I'm glad I did not waited for it.

First, the soft tonneau, IMHO is a mistake in this car; kind of cheapens its appearence.

Next, the A pillars are painted in the body color of the car: the electrifying effect of the brushed steel look of the A pillars on the convertible concept/prototype is lost. What a miss!!

Finally, it looks as if the rear seats were moved a bit forward within the car's cabin, resulting in less space for the passengers in the back (at least it looks so from these pics).

Most of the time, the passengers in the back of my CAMARO are my oldest sons!.

They sit back there in their infant seat and child booster seat extremely happy to get to school in sunny mornings or to go for ice cream or to a movie.
The soundtracks of the movies IRONMAN and CARS have two permanent slots in the CD changer because of them.

I'm dissapointed in the actual finished product and glad I went for the coupe instead.

don't understand why they don't put the XM antenna in the mirror like in the corvettes to get rid of that gaudy looking fin

I want that strut bar (and other chassis stiffeners) found on the vert Camaro! Nothing like upgrading performance with OEM parts! They dont fit no better!
