I thought it worked pretty good, but it was the filter or some gel cartridge or something that I had to replace after 1 or two washes so it got expensive. used it a long time ago

That's not good, but looking at your sig block, I see you live in New Orleans and there's probably more minerals in your water than in my area.

I just posted what we have in stock.

For best results you could use the filtered water for every part of the process. Your car soap will lather better and rinse freer. If you are trying to conserve the life of the resin in the water softener then you could just use it for the final rinse (make sure to flood as much water off as possible).

If you're trying to avoid waterspots... I use Adams shampoo and detail spray... we had well water that is very hard and never a spot on my car... also keeps working even after rain no waterspots. AWESOME stuff

It will eliminate magnesium and calcium based spots, but you might get some very light 'sodium' based spots that wipe away easily and will not damage paint. If you dry the paint as normal (with a soft waffle weave) you will have no problems.

If you leave the paint wet and let it air dry then any sodium based spots will clean up easily and will not etch.

We also sell the CR Spotless, and while it is a more expensive option, it will leave the paint spot free.

is there enough flow capability for the CR 100 to use to foam gun the car and rinse or will it only work as a rinse. Lastly for any of the systems, will it reduce the pressure coming out?

thanks,
Ben

Hey Ben! If you have extremely high pressure coming out of your tap then you may notice some reduction in water pressure. I have used a foam gun with both systems no problem. My house has moderate pressure and I notice only the slightest difference with the Clear Water Kits.

I'm not sure how this played out for you. The calling center closes at 6 PM, we do take orders via the website all weekend. Let me know if you ever got this ordered or if there is anything I can specifically do to help you.

My email address is todd.helme@autopia-carcare.com.
