Why not just get a Z06?

I mean it has the LS7 in it plus a radio, lighter, and all the creature comforts...true it costs more but ...no intention to make an argument. Just saying.

some people like Camaro's better than Corvette's. As simple as that. Also, a Z06 starts at 76k MSRP. My guess on the Z/28 will be less than what the ZL1 costs because of the lack of all the creature comforts.

Love the Z06 ,but I like being able to haul the wife and kid once and awhile. Plus this car is freaking awesome looking.

There's nothing quite like a new car.....that's the main counterpoint imo.

Yeah, I'm going to co-sign on that. From GM: "The Camaro Z/28 features the very best, race-proven technology on the market, including carbon brakes, spool-valve dampers, and the hand-built LS7 V8 engine. As such, the Z/28 will be positioned above the ZL1. Specific information on the Camaro Z/28 price and allocation process will be shared with you later this year."

We shall see, seems far fetched for the Z28 sticker to start higher then the ZL1 for me. But I could be wrong. The MSRP starts at $54,350 for the ZL1.
