Keep getting misfires

Ok, so I keep getting misfires under high boost (20-22lbs)
If I swap the plugs out for a fresh set it's fine for a while but it comes back. So every time I get a misfire I would just swap plugs again. It's highly annoying!

If the car is misfiring and I turn the boost down to 15lbs it won't misfire. Only does it on high boost.

I'll attach some pictures of my plugs. They look perfect.

Set up is: Twin turbo, e85 (current content is e78), NGK B8EFS (.022 gap) MSD wires, stock coils.

I have had "popping" issues twice.

Once upon low fuel level in tank. These dual/triple pump set ups don't like low level, so now I don't let it get below 1/4 tank which goes against the thought that less fuel = less weight = faster car, but it is what it is.

And then sometimes when I hit it in first I am just not fast enough shifting and due to wheel spin it bumps the limiter. If you are not paying attention to what happened it can feel like a "miss." This would only apply to those of us with a stick, of course.

Not saying that either of these issues is what you are experiencing, because other guys with much higher boost than me speak of spark blow-out, but I really wouldn't think that is the issue at 20-22#, at least I hope not.

I have one of those modules (can't recall the brand name) that ups the voltage to the coils about 5 PSI. I know when I bought it, I had lots of trepidation that it was a gimmick. However, if I bypass it, I get the same problems that you mention. The car accelerates noticeably slower, etc. I've even re-opened the gap to 0.35 and they run fine with the module. I've gone as high as 22 PSI.

Although I've never messed with it, I think there are tables to control the coil voltages.

Do you think you need to close the gap a little more when you up the boost, maybe it's blowing out the spark. This only a thought. Good luck.

Put new plugs in last night. Set the gap at .020 and no misfire. Now in a couple weeks I'll be doing this again. I don't understand why....

Would not surprise me if you had to drop down to 0.018 gap.

A JMS ignition voltage booster can make it so you can run 0.025 gap without spark blow out.

I know that has to be frustrating for you.

Dude I am not worthy of carrying a mechanics tool bag for him, but I wonder if your issue is valve float at high boost? I did a quick internet search and there seems to be some connection between valve float and misfire. Maybe you need some beefier valve springs?

This! I still think it is hard to beat a good set of OEM wires.

I'm going on three years with the same set of Taylor 86245 wires sleeved and heat wrapped because a few rest up against my turbo manifolds

If it was the wires or valve float why does it go away with fresh plugs?
With new plugs I can make pass after pass with no missfire.
They get some normal driving on them and it seems they go to shit. My afr is beautiful when cruising and the car runs fine. I'm wondering if I have the right heat range or not.

They're probably too cold for day to day driving. Try some BR7EFs. My car does fine with them cruising around or having the snot run out of it.
