Sounds like more of a dealer issue than GM issue.

I would feel bad for you but Trent's car was #74 and mine #230 built March 16 and 17 2009. Niether one of us got our cars till May 2009 so my violin is pretty small.

BUT believe me the wait was well worth it and I am sure you are going to love yours when it gets to you.

My order was one week shy of 7 months last year. Wasn't GM's problem, but the dealer. sounds like it's your dealer jackin you around too.

2 1/2 months isn't that bad...it'll be worth it, not to worry. My wait was almost 10 months.

coma,s,,,,,,,,,,,LOL,. anyway, the dealer cant control the delivery after its built, thats the carriers deal. dealer showed me on the computer where the carrier has x amount of time to get the car to dealer. which was today. i have read alot of other peoples wait, and i feel for all of u. it sucks. it seems there are more people who wait too long than not. some of it is dealer, some other reasons. you would think after the restructuring that gm,s going thru they would try to expidite customer orders, at least somewhat. oh well, had 3 beers now and relaxation is setting in. hope you all have a good cruising weekend, take advantage and drive those rides.

stop whining.

there are people here who have waited a helluva lot longer than two and a half months to get their cars.

mine was held in QC for an entire month because of the battery cable recall.

and if you have lurked here for a while, or even did a bit of reading about the ordering process - you'd know that the dealers don't know JACK when it comes to production dates or estimated times of delivery.

how long did it take me to get my car? ohhhh say about 8 MONTHS

ordered on Oct 14th 2008, delivered July 27th 2009...a nasty little thing I previously knew nothing about called "dealer allocation". BUT, the first time I turned that key I had forgotten all about it.

Well, I'm glad you were able to vent. That's one of the reasons we're here -- it's a group of people who understand. As opposed to venting to...your doctor or something.

Dealer allocation, shipping 'issues', all sorts of factors could play into why it's been delayed.
It sucks -- but it's coming! Stay excited!!
