I wonder if that's actually the truth, or just what they tell customers. If that's how they do business, everything is a group buy and they could be way more transparent and organized about it.

My impression is that cash flow is the issue and the delays are due to current order funds being used to fulfill previous orders.

I place some ( not all ) blame on this sites admins..They saw all the comments about how bad Maryland Speed was and did absolutely nothing , for a long , long time...The inaction of the admins ended up costing Camaro Forum members, time and money..Reminds me a lot of the FSP fiasco and how that was handled

It's funny how you only migrate to these threads and always seem to know so much about what's actually going on, without actually being affected. We've handled plenty of scammers here along with deadbeat customers too. MS is gone, you can rest easy and drop your agenda.

They went bankrupt and some cars in work got caught in the middle. No comparison to this MS deal.

*MAP = Minimum Advertised Price. When a MAP policy is in place retailers are not supposed to advertise prices below the minimum price set by the manufacturer. My guess is MAP policy violations are a part of why they are no longer an official direct vendor with Kooks and many others. I can explain further but it goes beyond the scope of this thread.

Incase anybody needs an update, Maryland speed is still horrible. Unfortunately, I found this tread after the fact. Had my dad order a k&n air intake from them for his 17 Silverado....that was 7/2. Still no intake and every time we call they say “it’ll be there Friday”, “it’ll be the Monday” yet they never have the tracking number and it never comes. Tried to cancel the order and they say “it’s agaist their policy, once you order it’s a done deal”...looks like we are going to have to call the credit card company....

Their rating there has been going up and down for a while now. I seriously doubt they bribe the BBB. lol.

Maryland Speed - Thieves

These guys are thieves! Ordered and paid in full $1650.00 January 8, 2018 and still have not received the product nor a refund that was requested. It is apparent this is common practice for Maryland Speed. This also makes sense as to why they don't give you the option to leave a review on their page.
