Looks like I have some work to do. One last question...with a street tune and a handheld, is all that data logged?
In my 2004 gto I had hp tuners and everything was logged and I could see every point of interest.
But, not having a program like that, can you really get that much data, or do I go to tuning specialist like RPM Motorsports in North Carolina which is the closest, and have them install hp tuners and get the dyno tuning done?
Thank you all again for your help.

Wait, what did he tune it with? I'm hoping it's the SCT, with a custom tune he created with the full version of the SCT Advantage III software. If not, then I'm not aware of any handheld tuner that allows you to change anything out of normal far enough to properly calibrate the ECU to the new parts.

If you do have an SCT X4, then you can download free LiveLink software and log everything.

EDIT- I take that back- I forgot that EFI Live has the AutoCal handheld that can also load custom tunes from the main EFI Live software.

Can't help you too much with the tuning info, that's my weaker area of knowledge. It's all in the tune though, which is why nobody but experienced LS guys should touch such a car. I would take it to as good of a shop as you can with an in house dyno. RPM is a good shop, if you can get it to them to let them figure it out, then I'd go for it. If not, then get a guy with HP Tuners and a few hours and get her straightened out.

It will be RPM. And I liked Hp tuners so I'll have them tweak this car on the tune.

That's a healthy LSA. Are you going to do any mods?

Not really. Might do Cold Air at some point. The thing runs great and has been super reliable so I am just enjoying it stock.

Hello All,
New to the thread, not new to having my car. I'll upload my dyno when I return from business. My Lingenfelter Stage 3 ZL1 makes 760RWHP and 750RWTQ right now.

That is bar far the best dyno I've seen with those mods (E85, cam, headers, ported snout and heads). I'd like to see if that can be reduplicated. With good rubber he should easily be in the 9's.

416 LSA with a 2.9 Whipple

Now 4 years later and a move to Florida. I asked Ted to recommend someone in Florida to work on my car. Being the class act that Ted is, he referred me to Howard Tanner at Redline. Decided to go with a forged 416 with a 2.9 Whipple.
