Custom Neoprylene Seat Cover Cleaning?
I have custom seat covers from Coverking. Yellow and black and they look great except - despite weekly spot cleaning - they appear to be dirty in certain areas on the seats. Coverking says to take them in to be dry cleaned but when I did that today the cleaners said they wouldn't survive a dry cleaning. These are expensive covers - help! Anybody have any success cleaning these covers?

Start simple... soap and water, maybe a soft brush or towel to help scrub. Flush well with clean water when done and hang dry.
Don't use hot water and don't set in direct sun to dry as both can cause damage to neoprene (learned from years of surfing) Other than that I don't know much else about neoprene seat cleaning. Not a question I've come across often. |
