How much of a difference does the ZL1 brakes make on the track? Can you tell a difference on the street? About how much did the upgrade cost if you don't mind? Thanks.

And no joke about the wind, it saved us in that heat!
Glad to see that your ducts worked. It makes you wonder why they didn't make that part of the 1LE package.

Tremendous amount. Brakes were good the WHOLE day, look at my wheels, brake dust was crazy. I am SO GLAD I did the upgrade.

Unless you drive hard on the street, or wait to the last minute to brake on the street, I really don't think you will notice a difference, really. If someone isn't going to track the car (autocross or road course) I think it is a waste of money. Honestly.

I shopped around and did all of the work myself (other than the powder coating).

Calipers, powdercoating, rotors (CTS-V), brake fluid (Willwood), and brake pads (Hawk HPS) was less than $1,000

Thanks. That's not too bad pricewise. That's something I'll definitely look into when my first set of rotors are worn out on my 1LE.

These videos are taking for ever 2 upload

The rear camera only took 2 good videos, one without sound, I think the mic wasn't in all the way & then the battery died. I think the heat was messing with that one.

I think the other 3 cameras were good. a bug hit the one on the front.

Well, I figured out why they are taking s long..... while using gopro's software to trim the videos, it converts to AVI. so, the videos were WAY too big to upload, converting back to MP4..

I'll have so up tomorrow for sure.. I might not load session two... I was ate up that session

Can't wait to see the vids! I'll upload mine this afternoon! Your Camaro looked like it had warts with all those GoPro's hanging everywhere!

Hey Guys,

was a pleasure to meet you and hang out with. We had a lot of fun and I am glad it didn't rain a drop during the event.

Here the first session in the intermediate group.

More to come

Great video! I was wondering about the reason for the red flag, now I know! Holy cow! It must have been crazy following him and seeing those flames!

Thanks crangie.

I decided 2 load the session two ones when I decided 2 turn it into dirt tracking

Mine aren't as good as crangie's, but I am trying to get them loaded. I will most likely get some added all throught the week.

Got some pics of a few of us... Yes, there are quite a few of me - my wife did a great job taking pics and was a trooper in the heat! Again, lots of fun, had a great time!
