What happened to G5R?

What happened to Nathan and Justin Moreno's G5R? Did they call it quits?

I heard they did not renew their vendor sponsorship and their posts have been deleted/locked. I could be wrong though...

Sounds about right.

Good job deleting a more than 200 page thread (project cleaning out the clutter) full of help and tips because of money.

The account www.MorenoMotorsports.com has deleted almost all of their own posts, although that makes sense considering they are almost all sales threads and vendors have a limit on how much they can post.

If you can tell me more about the thread you guys want back, I'll see what I can do.

There was a weight loss thread (more than one?) with some great information. Also, the thread with details about the Penske shocks and struts was a good reference for me.

Hey guys, do to our time constrains with school, we had to make some decisions and cut back on anything superfluous. We decide not to renew our Camaro5 sponsorship. We told Seth (Youngest Moreno bro) to delete all the sales threads so that we wouldn't get anymore orders. He misunderstood and deleted the G5.R thread, Cleaning the Clutter thread, etc. We appreciate all the support and help we have gotten on here from everybody, thanks again.

The G5.R thread which had all the photos of their progress.

You guys went so far beyond a 'weekend project' that I half expected you to open shop and become a full-fledged performance manufacturer. With all the progress, knowledge and experience you've gained, you could become a top-notch company if you want to. I understand wanting to get your schooling finished, so by all means get your degrees, but if you do nothing else at least finish putting together G5.R so we can all see the dream finished!

Best of luck and thank you for all the great stuff you shared with us here; hopefully we'll see more from you guys in the future.

I guess it would have been good to know they were not going to continue sales/service if you were a customer waiting to receive a part.

I am also still waiting to hear why SEIBON was listed as the manufacturer of the carbon fiber parts? After waiting for a month for an email reply the person that responded named Alex Barrera, works at: www.AndersonComposites.com which is who manufactures the parts.

Here's the facts:

18 FEB: Ordered "in stock" parts. Spoiler, rockers and rear diffuser

09 MAR: All parts delivered except rear diffuser (told approx. 2 weeks longer, no problem)

Emails from Moreno to Manufacturer at my request:

20 MAR: Asked for an update- No reply or update #1
28 MAR: Asked for an update- No reply or update #2
31 MAR: Asked for an update- No reply or update #3
05 APR: Asked for an update- No reply or update #4
07 APR: Finally a response and update that it will be at least another 11 days
before being shipped. Request #5 first to be answered in a month.

Whether there is a problem between the Moreno's and the manufacturer I don't know. All I do know is that I've been waiting for my rear diffuser to be fitted since it was ordered 18FEB2016. Took a month just to get this Alex guy to respond and all he did was tell me what I already knew... that the diffuser had to be fitted before shipping.... but I'm suppose to think that it is reasonable to take 2 months to fit an in stock part? That I already paid for?

So beware if you buy from this Anderson Composites place, communication and customer service are not a priority. BTW, I've been deployed this entire time trying to deal with this BS. Sorry for the rant but I don't wish anyone to have to deal with this poor excuse for customer service.
