apple car play IOS 10 UPDATE
is there an update that you need to download. on onstar or anything ?

Dont bother, it sucks. Period. Until apple gives us basic functions it's not worth it.

It's working fine for me and my car... Other than tune-in radio chose right then to no longer support CarPlay or so I've been told

Everyone is saying it sucks, but no one answered op. Is there something that needs to be done on the car side to update car play?

I just got the iPhone 7 Plus with ios10 and nothing is out of the ordinary. I can still use Spotifi and Apple Maps as before.

iPhone 6 with iOS 10, CarPlay is working fine for me. Didn't have to update anything in the Camaro.
I don't know why people complain about CarPlay. I have music, navigation, phone, and text, all integrated into my car's center screen, and has worked as good/better than any car manufacturer's software. What else do people want CarPlay to do that you absolutely NEED to have while you're driving? I'm seriously asking, outside the four functions I mentioned above, I don't know what else is necessary WHILE DRIVING.
