Got the lifters, lo ram, icon 102mm tb with their bolt on quick seal clamp. Still waiting on pistons and shaft mounts to show up.

Ended up selling the hi ram and 417 sandwich core. Going to go with the 2khp shearerfab all in one lid for space savings.

Been bouncing the idea of going twins for a while now and decided to make the leap after coming across a set of turbos locally that were used for mockup only. Theyre a set of bullseye s488s. They have their stainless dual vband housings with the 83x74mm turbine wheels.

They came with the aluminum downpipes and mounts already made up and made mounting them about a 2 hour ordeal. Pretty happy with placement. Excited to see where these take me!

Pistons and shaft mounts showed up. Took the shortblock parts to the machine shop. They said 2 weeks and it'll be done. This go I'm going to assemble myself.

Heads are the next item on the agenda to have done and it'll be good to pit back into the car.

Got everything from frankenstein to redo the heads. When I pick the shortblock up beginning of next week I will drop the heads off to be redone. Coming together slowly

Shortblock is together! Main clearances are right at .003, rod clearances .025-.003, thrust right at .004, and pistons are in the hole roughly .015. Cam and timing chain are in.

Just waiting on the heads to be done to get a ptv and pushrod measurement.

Decided to run an aem 380 and a magnafuel 4703 for the fuel system. Shearer fab 2k hp a/w intercooler has been ordered as well.

Got the remainder of the shortblock put together. Just need to verify TDC and set the timing pointer. Cut off the existing 10an drain on the pan and put in 2 -12 an fittings. Lifters are in as well

Shearer fab intake showed up. Got it bolted to the lo ram. Using a rife "low range" iat sensor, 40-335 degrees for the post iat sensor. Will still log pre intercooler temps using the hyperaktive 600 degree sensor.

Also verified TDC, surprisingly it was only .5 degree off and set the pointer. Should make life a lot easier verifying timing

Wastegates and blow off valves are in as well. Still waiting on the heads to be finished at the machine shop.

He mentioned wanting to do 45 and 50 degree valve angles to help it make power so we will see what he actually did when I pick them up.

What brand of fuel pressure sensor is that?

It's getting there!

That's a lowdoller sensor. Theyre like a 1/4 of the price of holley and the guy is really cool. He will send you a free replacement if they fail

Got my heads back today. Put some play doh in there to check ptv after I get my pushrods in. Went to measure for the pushrods and my 7.800-8.800 pushrod tool was too short so had to order the next size up.

Also dropped off some hotside/coldside stuff to get welded

Parts welded. As soon as i get my motor in we will have the turbo kit fabbed up again. Then it's just a fueling and it's ready for the dyno again.

Ended up needing split sets of pushrods. Intakes at 9.300, exhaust at 9.250. Went with manley 7/16, .165 wall

Motor is together and in the car. Need to trim the windshield area a little bit to get the intake to bolt up. Clears the hood though. Next up is turbo fab and fuel system
