Front and rear crash bars

Does anyone know what the actual weights of the factory ones were. I had these made from titanium for my car. 1.6 lbs front. 1.8 lbs rear.

Thanks viper. I was just curious. Not that 35 lbs is a huge drop but it all adds up. Now if I could just drop 35lbs off the driver I'd be set

It's pretty much finished for now. Little bit of trans tuning to do in the spring. Cars have been parked for winter for almost a month now. I made 4 passes the last day our track was open all 10.40's with a 10.40 being the best run. I had to paddle shift as the 1/2 shift point was bumping the limiter and hanging there.

Nice! Get a few things ironed out and you will be knocking on the 9's. Congrats

That would be nice but we very rarely get good air. Couple times a year we might see 1800. My 10.40 passes were in 3000DA.

Have you done any testing to see if those bars even offer any protection ? Because if they done just take them off

Thanks for your concern but I've taken that into consideration. I'll keep them.
