Everytime I drive my LT it wins me back over but....for the sake of mods and the fact that I screwed up and drove a v8 Im changing up. Hell I can't even find lowering spring for my v6, my only option is coilovers. The v6 is badass...the v8 is bader asser.lmao

I like to buy new also . You figure the extra 4 grand will be about 80 bucks more a month depending on how long you are financing . If you can afford it get the 2Lt . To be honest the HUD , bluetooth , leather , door lighting and other features are really nice . I would not have been as happy with a 1LT but that's just me . I like the upgrades alot . If you are thinking about a 1LT and there is light at the end of the tunnel , just do it and don't second guess yourself after you are done . Good luck to you .

You have an early model LLT which I believe is the most mod friendly of the v6 models. In the end I feel the LT headers, tune and throttle body are all you need if you want to have a crazy badass v6.. We have some like that in our ECC camaro group. My v6 LFX is a little beast and I'm not going to knock it either.

2LT RS... no regrets! The leather is great, I don't get static shocked getting in and out of my car. Besides the leather, the other extras in the 2LT RS package were worth it to me. I didn't really need the V8 either and while it would be nice, it's not necessary imo. 312 hp is fine for my needs.
and here's a couple of pix like you asked to see. |

I have a 1LT no RS and am totally satisfied with it, I have priced the 18" tires compared to the 20" tires and there is a major difference in price. I do and will be doing a lot of miles in my Camaro and I will be changing tires out every two years due to wear and that is a major consideration when I bought my car.
I don't need HUD (yet) but what is nice is the fact that an LT is set up so that you can add all the RS goodies if you want down the road. I may get the halo lights but I only want the halos while keeping my stock lights, Oracle lighting should help me out in that department. I don't like leather so basically I couldn't actually get the RS anyways. What I am getting at here is that there is a car for everyone, it all depends what your wants and needs are when you go out and buy one. The only thing that I have added so far is the heritage grill and I am really happy with that. I am planning on getting a new CAI intake, weather tech floor matts, mud flaps of some kind(I live out on a dirt road) and a body color license plate frame, then it all should be complete. Dude .....get what you want and can afford, there will be a highly diverse amount of folks in here that will tell you what THEY think and will give you their opinions. Do what is best for you. When I went out looking for a Camaro I had a specific model/style/price/color/and extras that was going to work perfectly for me and my needs and wants. One thing I can tell you is that you always need to keep in mind that with an LT you can always add all those RS goodies later on at your own pace and availability of funds. This V6 is an awesome machine and you will extremely enjoy it. You will get a little flak from the V8 guys but that is only because they are excited about their cars like you will be with yours. You will be satisfied with your car if you get it the way that only YOU want. Hope this helps you out.

The leather and HUD and all that stuff is great, but if I had to choose, I would definitely take the bigger engine over all the creature comforts. If you're gonna spend all that money on a 2LT, you're really close to the price of a 1SS. Your call, but make sure you don't regret your decision. Buyer's remorse sucks!

Buy what you can afford, period. Also, I love my 1LT, would not trade it in for anything.
