What kind of cars? I've run royal purple oil in the engine on turbo MR2's and my Tacoma and it ran great for years.

Interesting. I use Royal purple in my GSXR 750 which spins to 14500 rpm no issues. Been using it for 6 years .

Was thinking of redline, amsoil or royal purple for the trans....
The Mobile 1 I used has the LS designation for limited slip. I'm honestly not sure if you should then add more GM additive or not. I compromised and added a bit.

Haven't noticed any adverse affects yet...haha. I've got an eaton trutrack waiting to go in so I wasn't too worried if I hosed this one up. the stock lsd is not great.

So I finished this little project on Saturday and had some feedback for anyone looking to do it. I used Lucas oil 75w90 sync gear oil for the trans, and STP basic 75w90 gear oil for the rear will the 4oz of GM LSD additive.

1. I'd recommend buying 4 quarts of fluid as it gets super messy and I spilled a little .

2. The diff fluid didn't smell that bad, but the tranny fluid was well... nasty.

3. Make sure you are level when doing this to insure the fluid level at the full level.

4. lastly if using an additive for the diff pump a little new fluid into the diff then just dump the additive into the gear oil bottle and pump the rest of the quart into the diff.

5. buy more car parts for your Camaro because you just saved over $200+ by doing this yourself
