I would also need to find someone to ride shotgun on the trip, I wouldn't do it alone, lol. I wonder how reliable my friends would be if I asked them to go.

Hahaha, unless i find a cute lady friend i'll be traveling alone. it sucks but i've done it before and i'll do it again. most of my friends are either not into cars or controlled by their wives

Hey,those folks from sepa5 are great. Went on a covered bridge trip with them in Penn along the Delaware river in the fall. Great time and about 26 cars. Wife and I are going Wed and try to find some diners,drive-ins and dives along the way. She loves that show.

I am really considering going. Looking to try to find someone to ride with me. Also I wanna try to rent a V6 Camaro so as to avoid putting all those miles on my baby and to save on gas. I will keep an eye on this. BTW, if anyone from NJ or the surrounding area would like to travel together and split the driving then I'm all for it. I will post as I become more and more sure of my attending this event!!

Enjoying the ride in your own car is half the fun of going on a trip.

Yea true, I thought about that fact. But 10 hours of driving in a V8 with a manual trans is not really fun to me. I'd rather have an auto V6 for a road trip of this distance. Besides, being away from my baby for that long will make me love her even more.

Probably 9 hours of that will be on 4 lane divided highway. You won't need to shift hardley at all.
