Dude, cover it with XPEL or some other clear bra. It will look like a starry night in a couple of weeks of driving. I have done splitters repeatedly and the consistent issue is always rock damage on painted pieces. Looks great!

will a clear bra protect it from breaking against rocks and stuff like that?

no, strictly for road debris, I have put a strip of door edge guard on all my splitters to act as a "sacrificial" trim that can removed and replaced at the end of the season. This keeps most splitters from taking the impact when you scrape on aggressive driveway angles. Good luck.
