vararam intake with iceoloator

Is anyone running the vararam with the iceolator and a second factory gasket? Before I order everything I wanted to make sure the increased height created by the iceolator and gaskets would not cause any fitment issues with the vararam. Will the engine cover still fit as well? Thanks!

You'll be fine with the 10mm ICOLATOR, if you 25mm the engine cover won't fit. Did you get the longer bolts? I can give you the info for the 10mm ICOLATOR bolts you'll need.

The only thing I've purchased so far is the vararam. But yes, planning on the 10mm version with double OEM gaskets. Id rather buy another gasket than use RTV sealant after doing some reading in other threads. Will I need the longer bolts then because of the extra gasket?

Here Ya Go! BoltDepot.com you need 4, 8mm x 1.25 x 140mm metric hex bolts. They are item #7103. Use them for the 4 center holes, take 1 of the original center bolts and use on the front hole, take the front bolt and use it on the back hole. I highly recommend the second OEM gasket. I used RTV at first, then after a year it started letting unmetered air in and the car would throw random codes at different times, until I figured it out. I haven't had a problem since.

Thanks for the info. Now does anyone know if this setup will cause any fitment issues with the vararam?
