ACS Smooth Heat Extractor Hood Insert for 2010-2014 Chevy Camaro

This T10 (for 2010-2013 models and 2014 V6 models) or T14 (for 2014 SS models) heat extractor hood insert will install directly into your already-painted factory hood to avoid re-painting and shipping hassles experienced with buying an aftermarket hood. It's a great and cost effective way to change the appearance of your car without a full replacement hood. The hood insert follows the hood's cowl lines and adds functional heat extraction to your engine bay to help keep things cool. It's made using ACS's RTM process, which unlike conventional fiberglass is built to better withstand heat and distortion. Please note that installation requires trimming/cutting of your factory hood and drilling 8 mounting holes.

Performance:

The sole performance benefit of the stock aluminium Camaro hood is its light weight; it lacks heavily in its other categories. The ACS Insert converts the original hood to allow the extraction of the engine's hot air and reduces body lift at high speed by relieving under hood pressure.

Optional Hood Liner / Water Management System:

The optional hoodliner lets water drain towards the front radiator support and away from critical engine electronics.
