Yet another new (to me) 1LE owner

Just had this beauty delivered to me on Friday from TX. It's a '14 1LE 2SS/RS with 15k miles, fully loaded other than sunroof and Recaros (would've loved to have those but oh well). For the last couple years I was pretty dead set on getting either a Challenger Scat Pack or a 16-17 Camaro SS, but then I came across a picture of a 5th gen BRM 1LE and fell in love. I've been searching for one for nearly 3 months and was just about to give up and go with one of my first options before this one popped up for sale. I've already put a couple hundred miles on it and I'm pretty sure this grin on my face isn't coming off any time soon. This is actually my 5th camaro... I had a 93 V6, an 87 IROC, a 95 Z28, and 94 Z w/ a 383. Oh and also a low 12 second cam/bolt-ons 99 Trans Am if that counts. It's been a long 10 years since I had to trade my last one in for a family friendly SUV so needless to say, it's GREAT to be back!

Most definitely! Probably just bolt-ons until the warranty runs out, then most likely a cam and LTs. Would eventually like to get as close to 500 N/A rwhp as possible. First order of business is a CAI, still doing research on those.

Get the factory Z28 CAI. Its the best performing one out of the CAI available for 5th gens. I would've gotten that one myself if it was available when i was shopping for mine. Also, GM will cover it under warranty along with what you have left on your current warranty. The factory Z28 CAI is the one to get.

IMO a Bo White PTB is a must! Totally makes the car more enjoyable to drive. Unless it's a DD, drive the car hard for a few months and if nothing happens start the mods right away and enjoy. Why wait for the warranty to expire? Car will have more years and miles and might blow up the day after the warranty? Just do good and proven mods and you will be fine. Good luck....

Honestly I love the car as-is right now, don't forget I've been driving trucks and SUV's for the last 10 years. There are plenty of easily removable bolt-ons that I can do to keep me busy for the next year or so when the warranty runs out. Not to mention I'd like to get it paid off first before I go crazy with it.

Thanks for the tip, I didn't even think about looking into that one. I actually ordered a CAI intake last night, RDP had them for $345 with their 10% discount. The cheapest Z28 intake I can find is around $475 so I'm ok with saving the extra dough. I can easily put the OEM box back on if I have to take it in for warranty work.
