How much does it cost to black out rear?
For anyone who has it done to their Camaro, or has been quoted for it. let me know about how much it cost to get the rear blacked out at a paint shop. Not interested in vinyl or plastidip. I'm talking about the area around the rear tail lights as shown in the pic i provided "thanks in advance"

$6 if you want to use a can of plastidip. Other than that it ranges since there are multiple different ways to do it.
Having it painted I would imagine to be around $200-$300 |

would the shop have to repaint and clear coat the entire bumper and bottom portion of the trunk lid to do this? or can they just tape off scuff, sand, etc... then paint and clear the black?

The same questions apply to painted stripes. You have two options: 1) Cheap out and only paint/clear the new stuff, which leaves an edge at the junction of the new/old paint. 2) Do it right and inlay the new paint to the same depth as the factory paint then clear the entire panels that were touched to leave a smooth finish at the transition from old to new.
