I just got an e-mail for the upcoming Canadian International Autoshow, held each February, in Toronto.
Each year the "Crusie Nationals" presents a SPECIAL FEATURE designated to a specific vehicle showcasing its history...this year that SPECIAL FEATURE goes to.....

THE CAMARO & FIREBIRD!

Yes... In fact, the large exhibit to showcase the F-Bodies will be co-hosted by the Ontario Camaro Club (providing the Camaros) and the Camaro Country F-Body Group (providing the Firebirds)!!! Congrats to both clubs for this honour and recognition. I know they will put together an excellent both to showcase some of the wonderful cars OF THEIR MEMBERS!

(edit: point of clarification - the above comments only apply to the Toronto show)

We should get a group together to go! I think it would be a riot. I haven't made the trek in years to the show.

That's what we did last year

The reps at the GM booth even took photos of our group. They took down all our email addresses and said they were going to email them to us..... oddly enough no one ever got those photos

..... oh well.

There was some different deals on discounted tickets going around last year (Frank?). Plus this year I think we should meet as a group for breakfast/coffee before going in.

Plans are still coming together for this great event to kick off what will be a fantastic year for both Camaro and Firebird owners in Ontario.There will be many original Camaro's and Firebird's from all generations on display as well as a complete display of all 6 Indianapolis 500 Camaro Pace Cars.There will also be some unique show cars and special interest cars displayed for the complete duration of the show.So if you are having Winter blues about your car hiding under its cover in the garage get out and check out this unique display.No better way to get ready for the upcoming season.

I can't wait either for the Vancouver one either! I work right across from the new convention centre (Shaw Tower) and I'm hoping to get a pass where I can go everyday on my lunch break :P

Every GM fan is gonna love the show this year .
My buddy Van's second gen is in the Camaro display .
You will know it when you see it , its a dark metallic blue with ghost flames .
And I am happy to say my 5th Gen and 2nd Gen are both gonna be there as well .
