I track my Z/28 frequently and DD it 3 or 4 times per week. With Michelin 4S tires, she rides very smoothly, plus the tires are quite good on the track. The only time I didn't want to DD it was when it was wearing Nitto NT-01s.
Amazing machine, I never tire of rowing the gears, hearing the exhaust, feeling the torque. Probably more than 35 track days now and 23,000 carefree, mostly trouble-free miles. Only repair was the differential, which was replaced under warranty.

Its nice to own a rare machine such as this. The local Chevy dealer here had never seen one.. Worked her out and Spring Mountain last week. The instructors at Ron Fellows were praising it up and down. One instructor opined that this was the best car ever built by Chevy.

I track and daily mine as often as I can. 8 track days and 8k miles on my Conti Extreme Contact sports and the ride quality is still great and traction is excellent. I have track wheels and tires now to take the load off, but it's still great. Not as much fun driving in traffic anymore with the cam I've got, but I still do it. We road-tripped in it down to Houston and back in a day and I was super comfortable the entire ride. Love these cars.

My wife's Z is bone stock with Michelin 4S's and I hate them immensely. I never feel like it has traction. No idea how old they are, though. Being able to drive it in traffic without the cam chug is super nice and brings back good memories lol. She dailies it as often as she can, as well.
