Vent air always warm

Just bought this 2015 Camaro, every time we park it with the engine warmed up and get back in warm air comes out of the vents for 10 miles. Slowly it gets cool, dealer says they all do it? We have to use he ac every time even on a cool day if we want cool air out the vents. The controls seems to work normal, If you select cool its cool. If you select hot it gets hot. It just if you park it for 10 mins or so then its stays hot no matter where you set the heat control.

Makes sense, we had a hot water shut off valve installed and it didn't change a thing.

My car does the same thing you're talking about. It's a common, reported "issue" with the 5th gen Camaro. I think the routing of HVAC ducts in the dash and close proximity to the heater core is the main reason why the air always feels warm.

My car started doing this a month ago. but unlike OP mine get warm whether or not you turn to cool or hot and it stays hot through out. Note this is not with the AC on just vent air. so when i turn the ac on it does coll down a bit but you can tell its mixing with the hot air. any help dianosing this would be appreciated. the dealer wants to immediately flush refrigerant etc but i dont think this has anything to do with AC since it happens with AC off.

It could be the temperature door. It's a $40 dollar part, but the dealer will want to go through the dash, and they might mess up the windshield, so you may be out of > $2000.

A few people have cut a hole in their footwells and have fixed it that way.

The heater core always circulates hot coolant. So there will always be hot air, question is with the blend door and its operation.
