What compression ratio for agp twins

Having a 427 dart eliminator block built by tms and wanna to know what the agp twin kit guys are running for comp ratio. End whp goal is 1200, 93 octane only with possibility of meth and will mostly be a streetcar.

11:1
wanted the car to not be a dog on the street for daily but still be able to lay the boost into it at the races

93 only, i’d probably go lower. Im at 10.3 and its got plenty of grunt off boost. I woul just talk to Dustin or one of the guys there and get their recommendation.

Kevin at tms recommended 9 something compression ratio, just wanted to see what others were running. Any recommendations on a good sealing head gasket? 4.125 bore with arp regular sized studs 6 bolt head setup.

I've hear opposing arguments about choosing CR with boost. Some say go low CR so you can crank up the boost with more "margin." Others say high CR will give you more power, but you have to be conservative with the timing. Perhaps it all depends on how one wants to use the car. Either way when done correctly won't be wrong, IMO.

Static CR really doesnt mean much. Valve events dictate your effective (Dynamic Compression) in a more meaningful number. If you dont know what it is, its kind of a crap shoot on what CR to run. The higher the better for off boost, but too high will limit how much boosts you can run. I think 8.0:1 DCR is kind of a sweet spot for boosted applications, but thats just my opinion. It really kind of varies depending on build. Every car is different.

Just put it on E. you've got thousands into your build, dont risk it running shitty gas.

Going with a 9.5:1 compression ratio and rings gapped for boost.

Thats not far off factory compression. Compression is free power. It's not 1980 anymore.

Thats just static compression, dynamic is something completely different

93 only, I'd definitely be into the 9's

Adding more boost is easy to make power.

When you're knock limited through fuel/too high CR....there is no fix when on pump fuel only.

And a 427 is never going to be a dog off boost.

This, its all in the tune. Its not old school anymore. Lots of cars running relatively high compression with boost
