My first car was my 71 Camaro and I have owned many Camaros since then and when the new Camaro was being talked about and showing up in magazines, I had to have one, I think the 2010 Camaros are the best looking Camaros ever made

When the Transformer movie came out I thought that it was the best looking car I had seen in years. As soon as my local dealer had one in the showroom I went to see it. It might sound silly, but it was like a chemical reaction seeing it in person. I spent two hours putting my hands on any part they would let me. I spent a year and a half looking for a new car, and kept coming back to the camaro. In the end I went with my gut and have not been disappointed for one second. I still get butterflies when I open the garage to see her.

I'm a Dodge Guy at heart, and I really like the Challenger, but my wife isn't a fan of them. I thought I might be able to sway her to the SRT-8 way of things until I saw the price tag myself ($48,000). So I went out to look at a Mustang, and I didn't fit in it (I'm 6'9"). So I went to the Chevy dealership to see what the Camaro had to offer, and it was love at first sight. Then I sat in one, and I was comfortable. I made the error of driving one, and knew I had to have one.

In short, for the money, I honestly don't know what else would give me this big of a smile every time I see my car, start the engine, or drive it.

Here's some food for thought too- a friend of mine has a Dodge Viper ACR in Snake Skin Green, and the car is amazing. The power it has is out of the world (over 600HP), but he had to pay almost $100,000 for it. Plus, it's not comfortable inside if you are much taller than 6'2" and it doesn't have a lot of the features the Camaro has. It's a great car, but I wouldn't trade it for my Camaro.

I've always loved RWD V-8 American muscle cars. Doesn't really matter whether they come from Ford, Chevy, or Dodge. I fell in love with the new Camaro in particular way back in 2006 when I first saw the concept at the Chicago Auto Show.

I have been a Chevy girl for years. Decades now in all honesty.
My x husband had a 67 convertible Camaro. Which he drove into a ditch one night while out cheating on me. His driving the Camaro into the ditch hurt more than the cheating part. I divorced him and bought a 69 Camaro coupe. Sold it. Stupidly. When I got pregnant with my daughter.
I have owned and driven MANY cars in my days. The ONLY car that pulls my soul in is the Camaro. No other car does to me what the Camaro does.
The car is up there with my daughter, husband and horse.

My father (who drives a '07 Corvette convertible) told me to get one. He's always been the voice of reason, telling me not to spend my money. But he loved it. And I was impartial at first. But when I saw the white one on Chevrolet's build your own website, I had to order my 1LT, "Olivia."
