I guess 7.42
Please remember the time from the "blue devil" with Magnusson... I have controlled the existing videos several times, the camouflaged Z28 has really wide tyres an he goes like hell. PS: If anyone wants to visit the Nürburgring, remember that fuelcosts in Europe are much more expensive... 8:09 is in no way slow! Slower then the CTS yes, but still in no way slow. 9 sec on the ring is like half a sec at VIR just for comparison.
Can't wait to see what it does, and I can't wait to get our Camaro there in May to see what it can do with a happy amateur behind the wheel /Erik |

I'd be surprised and disappointed if it didn't beat the CTS-V time, even if only by a little. I'm expecting at least a slight HP boost over the V, a lighter weight, and track tuned suspension. Drivers being equal, I'm not sure how the Z28 will be slower around the ring than the V.

That is true! I just meant that 8:09 was still a very respectable time, but putting the SS into consideration it should most certainly be faster. If the SS time of 8:15 is true, on stock tires etc that is very impressive as well. I'm hoping for a mid 7:50, that would be bad ass

Stickier tires and a little more experience with the engine and suspension - 7.52 seconds. The talent of the driver will determine the time plus don't forget about the politics here. The Z28 (or Z/28) will be slower that the Z06 Vette but simply must spank the Mustink.......

A simple look at the CTS-V time and the SS time, one would say 8:10.
I am gonna guess, slower. I say 8 minutes even. |
