Anyone installed video yet???

Kid has gotten used to watching movies on our 7-13 hour drives. even around town hes not too happy in the Camaro. Anyone done a video install yet? In the headrests or from the ceiling of the car? Anyone have any pics or stories?

I think you can get the removable units that go over the head rest or on the arm rest. No installation required and it can go from car to car.

Tell the kid if he wants to ride in the cool car he's gonna have to suck it up and deal with it!

But yeah--those over the head rest units would probably be best.

bought some removable head rest units, from best buy, for my fiancees lancer and use them in mine..it comes with 1 screen/dvd player plus another screen that connects to the first..they attach with velco straps..very VERY easy to install and uninstall. and looks great..comes with car charger and home charger..my 2 yr old daughter takes hers in the house to watch some old school Scooby Doo and The Ghoul School

But im dying for a 7inch monitor/dvd/navi head unit..i bought a cheap one for my truck. it looks like a standard cd player. push a button the top of the unit extends out and flips up showing a 7inch touch screen monitor.only costs 200 dollars from wal mart of all places..i put it in my truck for the winter when i dont drive the camaro. they sell better more expensive ones. you could have someone install it if someone would come out with an aftermarket dash kit..i hate the fact that GM molded the radio into the dash like that..DAMN IT..i cant get an indash head unit..lol..the camaro should have came stock with one..would have been nice..but i dont have the gauge pods so i hooked up a nuvi to its suction cup stand and it actually looks stock where its at and out of the way..
