New wiper fluid sensor?

I've heard the newer Gen 6 Camaros have (or are going to have) wiper fluid sensors in them.

If this is true, anyone have any idea if it'd be possible to put them into a 2016 model?

And please spare me the smart remarks of "who needs a sensor" and occasionally checking under the hood to top it off. Some of us do live busy lives and can easily forget small things like that. I usually remember to do so after giving her a good washing.

It may require more than simply installing the level sensor in the washer reservior. It may require additional wiring and reprograming the DIC so it shows the low washer fluid message.

Agree. And the DIC programming may be linked to VIN by year. So even if you could access the software upgrade through an SPS update, a pre-2018 Camaro may not be compatible.
