Bypass vs Blow Off on a Sc

At what point do most guys stop recirculating their boost back into the intake and just run a vented to atmosphere bov style relief valve?

Tial Q came with my ECS kit. Im going to be running a Novi 1500 on 15 lbs with the Tial Q, and the new intercooler ECS came out with that is a million times better than the first one. Drops iat's across the board.

Personally, i just love the sound of a vented Box.

I prefer the sound also, but not at the cost of performance. Does the recirculated surge valve help maintain boost between shifts on a centri blower?

On a side note, do you have a stock cam? Curious how you plan to hit 15lbs...

I never recirculate hot air back in to the blower, always to atmosphere.

The only time you need to recirculate is if you have your MAF before the blower which is something many of the Mustangs had years ago because they had no intercooler and no room for the MAF between the blower and TB.

Ted.

So there is absolutely no benefit from recirculating the air, besides the noise?

Quite honestly it is detrimental to performance to recirculate as you are adding heated air to your inlet of the blower.
