Thanks Donnie. They need it regardless. Where Is the best place to find them , and can they be had locally? Tom mentioned tire rack but if the auto places carry them I could do that.

Funny haha..lol.
I guess something happened to ware them out since 280 auto x laps, a dozen 1/4 miles and tons of canyon carving and stop and go traffic didnt do it. If that didnt do it I think I will put in a complaint, these things are defective...lol

Might even try R-1 concepts....the HPS are what they include in their rotor-package deals....They are in La Habra, and might have some you can pick up cheap for cash....I "up-graded" mine to HP Plus, and R-1 still got them for me cheaper than Tire=Rack...

I have a bunch of semi used RB pads laying around if anyone wants to try them. I dont use the front brembos anymore so i cant use them.

I saw RB today....holy **** their big brake kit is going to be good. They are going to have (eventually) three levels of calipers to fit front of car, a oem size, a bigger size that also fits on the c7, and a 6pot that i want to marry.

I just got off the phone with R-1 concepts. They don't have them in stock but can get them quickly. $134 for Fronts and $112 for rears.
I called West Coast Corvette and they only carry the Hawk Performance Ceramics like I have now.
My tire guy is working on getting me tires and as soon as I know he can get them in a day or two, I will have R1 get me pads.Think I am just going to do the fronts for now.

Cool. May or may not get them. Reports here on the forum are they make noise also. Depends whether car remains a DD. Most likely it will become a garage queen and wont matter much...lol

Just noticed, over 12000 posts

I like the ceramics I have. Low dust and work fine for autocross, but just going to get a set of HPS for road courses. If your only doing autocross, I am sure your fine with stock or Ceramic pads.

Talked with Tyler at JDP and said stock is good. More $ then hps. However on road corses and speeds, HPS after 5 laps or so can glaze and dont hold heat well and you get fade. Stock would be better if that happens as they are a good cross of street and race pad.

guys, if you are going on a road course, you need big boy brakes, which means at a minimum HP+, but repeated sessions on even those they will start to glaze....don't go running 4 sessions on HPS, it won't end well...and I don't think stock pads will hold up to repeated sessions...there is a reason why I pay for Cobalt Friction pads, other than they make my wheels look like crap...
