2010 camaro should i buy this

Hey all,new to this site and am glad the wait is over for the camaros return i need a opinion, open to all I have a 2010 camaro 2lt/rs am looking to buy(i know v-6,lets get over it for now) The car was salvage/flood,its at a small dealer that bought it at auction to bring in customers(he said it worked) but would sell it Hes had it for a yr and drove it 500 miles The flood happened 2010 august I checked it out once,no smell or dampness, dont think it got in dash but did get to trunk Ran a carfax, and of course said flood title/salvage,said it was one owner Im not a big fan of salvage titles but the car is nice.Only body damage is front lower where wrecker picked it up,very minor The car is loaded, with RS, orange leather inserts, guages, auto tap shift and only 1800 miles Plan on driving it tomorrow, just having a hard time passing it up He wants 19k for it
He will take my 96 z vert 95k miles in trade for 14k differance and tax
Give me your thoughts I dont plan on selling it,just driving the wheels off it What do you think and what should i worry about Thanks

I would stay away from any vehicle without a clean title, you have to remember, its not going to be easy to resell it. Personally I would not do it, but thats just me.

Quick question, when you say "flood" what do you mean by that? The whole car was under water?

Ok well anyways. If it does mean what i think it means, stay away from it! Water gets everywhere. I guarantee you in a month or 2 of daily driving, the engine will give out.
Source: my dad buys alot of cars from auctions and sells them. I gave it a try, bought a dodge neon for $4000, says only problem was flood, car looked in perfect condition, couldnt tell anything was wrong with it at all! 2-3 months later. Engine breaks down, never got it to work again. My advice from past experience, do not buy no matter how good the deal sounds

I wonder if it's the same camaro posted here a year ago of a flood. Any way it sounds to risky I would over look this one and get one that has a clear title.

No.

Once the wire harnesses get wet, it becomes a never ending nightmare.

I saw a nice SS In the classifieds for $25,500. The LT deals in your price range have to be out thre.

I agree with everyone else, stay away from a flood car/ salvage title. There are other deals out there with clean titles.

V6 Camaro is great.

Salvage title might even be ok for the right price.

But NOT if the reason for the salvage title is for flood damage.

I'm not worried about salvage titles EXCEPT for flooded vehicles. It's an electrical nightmare waiting to happen if it isn't already.

Can someone find that thread and post a link? Sorry, can't use the search function from my "smart" phone.
