2011 SS vs 2013 SS Brake differences

Anyone know what the difference is in the brakes from 2010-12 compared to the 2013 and later brakes? A wheel company tells me their SS style wheels won't fit my 13 SS, but will work on earlier SS models. Thanks for your help!

I'm pretty sure the brakes are the same. The same Brembo brakes were used from 2010 to 2015 or 2016

The Brembo calipers/rotors/pads/lines are all the same for the 2010-2015 Gen5 SS Camaro's. I have helped several friends out in changing calipers as well as a few conversions on the V6 Camaros using any of the Gen5 calipers.

I think your wheel company might be a few fries shy of a happy meal!

I'm not sure why they would say that. All the SS brakes are the same '10 to '15

Does it have to do with the roller skates or are those on all model years?

Thanks for the info guys! Seemed odd to me as well, but their website, as well as talking to them, states: WILL NOT FIT: SS 2012-present or ZL1. Fitment is not guaranteed for vehicles equipped with upgraded or modified brakes, suspension or drive train.

Very early 2010 model SS Camaros did not have the roller skate brake pads. Lots of squealing complaints led GM/Brembo to come up with the roller skate design to stop the squealing and the roller skate pads were the factory pads going forward. Neither of my early production 2010 cars had them but I had them swapped over as soon as the new pads were available since it was a no charge fix.
