Lysholm Twin Screw w/ Dyno

We actually finished this car right before the Camaro 5 Fest.

2010 Camaro SS LS3

Lysholm 2.3L Twin Screw 6.5lbs of boost
ARH 1 7/8 Headers short system with factory hook ups
MSD BAP
Custom ECM Tune

This was our first install of this kit. The kit installed very easy and the fit and finish is what we come to love from Vortech/ Lysholm Air Power Group.

Since we finished this in such short time for the show I did not get a chance to raise the boost to a higher level. All in all we are very pleased with the HP made and would recommend this kit to anyone looking for a great positive displacement supercharger kit.

We are getting ready to do a cam change and up the boost so I will keep you all posted on our gains.

Here are some pics and the before and after on the dyno. This was with only 6.5 lbs of boost.

Here is the link to the video on our photobucket.

Nice! I remember seeing that car at C5F2. That blower was my second choice. I love the way it looks on top of the motors. The brackets and pulleys are very nice looking.

I am guessing since it's got headers that the whine is not as loud as other videos.

Can the bottom end handle the additonal boost without being forged? I was under the impression that going to a smaller pulley to increase the boost would cause premature damage to the pistions and/or rods.

Haven't seen any issue's when running 8 to 9.5lb of boost.

So here is the new graph with our camshaft kit and changing the SC pulley out.

We picked up over 91HP and 100ft lbs to the tires. Fuel pressure was holding steady and we made these runs with the car nice and hot and with only 18 degrees timing.

Here is the graph.
