I don't like the rule in the sense that I don't like how the NFL is legislating the physicality under the game.
I do like the rule in the sense that it puts the onus on the offensive player as well now. For too long the defense has been getting screwed because all of these offensive players lower their heads and make it impossible for defensive players to NOT get called for fouls. Granted, this doesn't resolve all of it, but in that sense, it's a step in the right direction. |
