Already talked it over. If it can be added to our engine, Trifecta can tune it.

Doesn't that mean that there are now multiple F/I options for the V6? Obviously the install would require some custom fabrication, but if Trifecta can work the tuning end, turbos and centris can be made to fit. Is that correct?

Doc,

You never answered my question in the other thread...

Do you think if this fits the LY7 it necessarily is going to fit the LLT? It looked to me like all the motors pictured on that website were the LY7. Did you see something different?

What's the compression ratio of the LY7(or whatever motor they're dealing with) compared to our LLT? That would be my concern. What's Vince saying? Is he ready to do the tune? Are you going to have to run that fuel pump set-up or will the stock one keep up? If we don't need it, whill they just sell the SC and mount minus that washer bottle set-up and whatever else we don't need? What kind of boost is it set at?

I'm going to pop the hood and start looking tonight. I think it'll fit.

This looks possible with the stock washer bottle. All I know is I'm really ready for a SC/Turbo set up to hit the market.

IMO I agree with you, I think that either you can customize the product or make it fit it will work due to the tuning being the option. You can put a turbo or sc on a car and if it isn't tuned it will run, but not the its best capability.

Sorry John, I forgot about your question. IMO if the LY7 and LLT are the same engine design with the direct injection being the only difference then why not? BUT --- after looking at the manual and the engine photos of the Capa car --- their 3.6L VE engine has been giving them a hard time just like our LLT. If you read the AU threads on this topic the VZ 3.6L is the same as our LY7, both can be tuned easier and have turbo/sc added without issue. So they were begging for a VE/LLT turbo/sc and Capa is the only one to answer. They don't have the tuning yet like we have from Trifecta, so that is why Capa is saying you have to get the piggy back ECU from them, they load a new program that runs from the other ECU. I think it would work on our engine. Just have to make sure everything looks like it will fit.

From my understanding our fuel system will handle up to 425-450hp without upgrades, just like a majority of the car is designed for higher hp before we have to upgrade parts. STS is selling their turbo kit with no injectors, so we shouldn't have to go that route.

The 3.6 L (3564 cc) LY7 version was introduced in the 2004 Cadillac CTS sedan. It has a 10.2:1 compression ratio, a bore of 3.70 in (94.0 mm) and a stroke of 3.37 in (85.6 mm). Lower powered versions only have variable cam phasing on the inlet cam. Selected models also include variable intake. The engine weighs 370 lb (170 kg) as installed.

The 3.6 litre (3564 cc) LLT is a direct injected version based on the earlier LY7 engine. It was first unveiled in May 2006, and the DI version was claimed to have 15 percent greater power, 8 percent greater torque, and 3 percent better fuel economy than its port-injected counterpart. The LLT engine has a compression ratio of 11.4:1, and has been certified by the SAE to produce 302 horsepower (225 kW) at 6300 rpm and 272 lb·ft (369 N·m) of torque at 5200 rpm on regular unleaded (87 octane) gasoline. This engine debuted on the 2008 Cadillac STS and CTS.[4][5] GM will use a LLT in all 2009 Lambda-derived crossover SUVs to allow class-leading fuel economy in light of the new Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards. In the Lambdas, LLT engine produces 288 horsepower (215 kW) and 270 lb·ft (366 N·m) of torque.

Speedy....really, I am trying, that is the point, because no one else is putting forth the effort to search out other alternatives for us V6'rs. I think the kit looks great for what it is offering. Nope don't work for trifecta, why do you ask? And yeah he can do it and others have the same thing going but look they don't offer it because you aren't getting any hp out of it. Funny thing is that capa is the only one doing a turbocharger for our class of engine so I'm not an expert on this engine by any means but if it looks like it would work then I would try it. Just need the funding.

Your effort might be going somewhere. I think we need to see how it all bolts together. If we can compare the actual parts of that engine with ours, we might be able to work out the kinks and make a kit here. A great option would be if we could get Trifecta to team up with a vendor to produce this kit for us.
