got a ljms cam. he recommended the stage 3 twin turbo grind for my setup. got the 3/8 pushrods and dual springs as well. also picked up a melling stock pressure, high volume pump and a set of arp head studs(234-4317). just need head gaskets, flexplate, and the long block at this point to put the motor/ trans in.

working on fitting the fiberglass dash. it's about 2 inches narrower than the stock dash. I ended up shoving it about 4 inches forward over stock. the plates are there to support the front until I weld in dzus plates for easy install/removal.

started putting hot/cold side parts on to get them off the floor in the shop.also a pic of my 8 month old baby showing stock camaros are good for something 😂

cided to back half the car. removed the back window last night. gonna cut floor pan from the rear seat back into the trunk area. we will see as we go! stay tuned.

removed headliner, complete wiring harness, center console, airbags, and a few other things. removing the headliner took forever since the cage obstructed the bolts for a lot of things

I'm looking at the welds. down to a few wheels. full throttle, magnums, v series, or alumistars. can't decide yet. but it will be 15s for sure on all 4 corners.

tires in rear I'm looking at 32/33 by 14.5/16.5 slicks. we will see how wide I can get once i get the rear ordered

got the brakes installed. the instructions were something to be desired from aerospace so I'll break it down for those doing it themselves.

the rotor hat to rotor bolts i found through other manufacturers get torqued anywhere from 35-40 inch lbs to 16 foot lbs. I snugged them by hand with red loctite.

the brackets to factory spindle bolts get torqued to 50 foot lbs. the 9/16 thick spacers go between the bracket and spindle as shown.

the rotor then gets put on the hub

the caliper without pads gets installed as shown. swimming may be needed to center the rotor in the caliper. mine did not use any spacers for reference. the caliper bolts get torqued to 35 foot lbs. I did not use any loctite as the calipers are aluminum and might want to get them back off.

then you can drop the pads in and install the retaining bolt using red loctite, snug this by hand as well.

I hope this helps someone doing the install as I couldn't find anything useful for my questions

Any benefit to the 15 up front. I just put the aerospace brake street kit up front and not sure if I’ll keep my 17x5 weld or drop down to a 15 up front

Do you know the wheel specs for fitting a 15 up front? Weld only lists 15" wheel specs for the rear
