Preparation for paint correction and ceramic coating

After 3 years of semi-neglecting my paint like an idiot and using soft touch automatic car washes, my car's got swirls all over. I'm finally going to perform paint restoration on it. What I've planned so far is:

1. Pull out door dings and dents (PDR)
2. Wash first with Dawn soap
3. Claybar
4. Hit it with Meguire's Ultimate compound
5. Polish
6. Ceramic coating

Does this sound like the correct process or what would you do differently?

I would not wash with dawn dish soap - that can dry out the rubber parts.

I would wash
Clay bar
ironx
Polish
IPA wipe down (to remove polishing oils)
Inspect the paint for any swirls (polish again if needed)
Then coat
