Anyone else using the new facebook layout (the Timeline)?
I got it yesterday, and I must say, I'm impressed. This new layout is COMPLETELY different from anything it's been before. Your entire facebook is listed in a timeline. I spent 4 hours last night looking at the past 5 years of my life-- the good and the bad.
This apparently goes live for everyone October 3rd, but is there anyone else who got it early like I did? Do you like it? And for those who haven't seen it, here is an example of what mine looks like now:  I foresee a lot of Camaros as people's cover image (the large pic in the background) in the near future!

I dunno, FB can be a big liability.
Long as anything you upload or post can only be used for an alibi and not evidence, its ok. [electronic paper trails are never a good idea though.] |

I've heard lots about it, but can't figure out how to get to use the new timeline. I'd like to check it out. I suppose I could just wait until oct 3rd, but i'm impatient haha.

Funny ha ha FB show on CNBC right now with they bring up old emails from the owners of FB talking about how the first few 1000s members just give him all their info and he can do anything he wants with it, calling them suckers for it.

It's so amazing how Facebook can control a person... The average Facebook user is so dependable on it that if it goes away, they'll probably die.
I had pictures of an ex show up on my phone's facebook after 3 years of having them deleted. After that I said enough is enough. I'm done with it.

I only use Facebook with a vague nickname similar to my real one, and a 15 year old pic taken from a distance. Am only on there to stay in touch with a few relatives... don't need all my old High School classmates or neighbors looking me up.
 Fill out all that "Your School History" and "Work History" stuff? Hah. No way.

^^ Do you like it? And I thought it was supposed to roll out to everyone today, but FB hasn't spontaneously combusted from people flipping their shit, so I'm assuming it hasn't changed yet.

I'm tired of facebook already, at first it was fun. Now its just boring and I already told myself that if it goes down no more social networks for me. MySpace-->Facebook then thats it. I have a phone that can do text if my friends want to get in contact.
