lmao!

I read the thread and even posted in it when it was open, at first it was amusing seeing the route in which things were going.
but once the root cause was identified, then it went full tilt down the wrong road

I'm sorry but there is no way you can forget your car had major hail damage and had the windshield replaced. In fact I even remembered it and it's not even my car (I just remember reading about all the issues she had), that is why I went back in time to fine the post.

Sorry but not I'm buying the amnesia defense.

I'd like to know why the thread was delete instead of just closed?

I guess that is possible. Unlikely, but possible.

Who forgets that they bought a hail damaged car?

My guess is nobody. Anywhere. Ever.

Edit: damn... nyrfan types faster than me.

then you must not have much of a life. lol

Like I said before, I wish I had the time to care about all the BS drama in the world. but at the same time, I'm glad I don't. I don't get worked up when people post/talk about things I don't agree with. I'm not out to prove anyone wrong (it just happens...lol), just to open their closed minds to something other than what they believe.

Ok, it's not my life on the stand here, lol

Again I'd like to know why the thread was deleted and not just closed.

This. Especially when she could remember the details of her BF/Hubs/Dad whoevers car from 5 years ago.

thats your opinion.
but 5 years and 70k+ miles

hell, my saturn (in my ownership) is less than 2 yrs but over 70k+ miles and just yesterday I forgot whether or not I replaced the serpentine belt last year....
after I bought a new one. (turns out, I did replace it already, so now I'm heading to the store to return the new one)

and you'll most likely say "yeah, but a belt tensioner is a minor part compared to a whole windshield."

but it will just prove you are missing the point. at this point, I'm just trolling you guys because it seems you care so hard to prove your point.

memory is a fickle thing
I can name every car I've ever had. doesnt mean I can rattle off every thing I've ever worked on before. your point is invalid.
