ticking sound in engine compartment?..
I have a 2011 2lt rs when I have the car on and hood up there is a ticking sound I hallways hear does anyone know what this is??...

One of three options:
A. Your car has a bomb implanted into the engine and soon will explode. B. Someone dropped their watch in your engine bay while building your car. C. Your fuel injectors are working on your car. I'm gonna go with my instinct on this one and say B. |

phew thought it was option 1 for a min. . . . ok wasnt sure if that was normal never heard that in cars before. ..

It's the HPFP(High Pressure Fuel Pump). You can really here it when you go though a drive through.
