They all look really great! Have you ever used a clear or resin of any kind on hood liners before or after the fact to protect them and make the images sharper? I've always thought that material would not hold up on its own.

Where does the guy live that you did the reaper and skull for? I saw either that one or one like it at a car show in Mass last night.

hey guys, i thought of trying to figure out a better way to seal it, as well as make the material easier to work with.
Its a fabric like material, which sometimes likes to soak up paint.
Iv experimented with shooting coats of paint on the fabric before airbrushing. This makes the surface a bit more solid, allowing for firmer lines. But still not really a HUGE difference.

When time persists id really like to try using a resin to put over the liner and clear coat the art.
I know some hoodliner artists who do this, and they usually come out fantastic, but they also charge nearly triple what i usually ask. like $1200 compared to my $350-ish.
Plus the shipping which can be up to $175 sheesh.

Iv always wanted to try this though. Seems like a great way to protect the art, as well as get a better quality line. Sounds like a fun project.

@maxspeed: I dont really remember where he lived, but Mass sounds about right. Could be, as i do plenty of work that goes up north in that area.
