Curb rash on chrome rim

Broken hearted. I got major curb rash today. I searched the forum but couldn't find any solutions for chrome rims, just painted. Is there a way to fix this myself? If not, any suggestions on where to take it? I don't even want to know what it will cost to replace the rim, but I'm guessing it's in the neighborhood of a grand.

This is the worst part:

This is further around the rim. Not as bad, but maybe this part can be repaired?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

You can buff it on the shallower stuff but you're mostly just hosed. Wheel edge protectors exist to maybe cover it up but it will look like a plastic edge around the chrome. Replace or rechrome if you want it perfect.

I curbed the $*it out of a set of $4k wheels on my Mercedes lol after some youtube tutorials I decided to fix them myself and they actually came out good! I invested a couple hundred in tools, fixed my wheel and been making a couple bucks here and there off my friends fixing their wheels. Tools paid for themselves right away lol

Not my video by the way. Just an example.

You're saying you sanded chrome to remove rash? Cause billet aint chrome.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I'll check a few body shops and get a grasp of the cost. After washing and scrubbing out the dirt, they aren't as noticeable from a distance. Of course it's the first thing I see, but you know how that is.

Body shops can't help you. You need a new wheel. Chrome cant be repaired.

Look on eBay. There are stock 21" GF rims popping up on there for sale.......

I scraped curb on right side, but got the front one replaced under warranty because the chrome was flaking off in the pockets, however, the rear one is still gashed. There is a rear wheel on eBay right now for about 299, not a bad price. Eventually I will get a new one when I have the resources.

Unfortunately, that's about all you can do. It's unfixable.
